Poppy’s parents found out that she knows! This took so long and I’m glad the author finally decided to make that happen. I was hoping for a bit more after this because her parents just explained everything to her and then let her go off with Harry while they kept the sister and stayed on the run. I was hoping for more drama because of waiting so long for this to come to an end.
I am glad that the author decided to have Poppy go with Harry and have the life that Poppy wanted to show that she can go away from what kept causing her pain.
Poppy’s parent were both fugitives but for different reasons. Her mother comitted the crime and did some kidnapping and other things that aren’t too revelent for this purpose, but her father pretended to be dead and stay with her mother to look after her and support her. He threw his entire life away for her.

This book overall was great, and I loved it, but I do think that the author could’ve used more drama or added more secrets that built up just to keep it interesting the whole time for dragging it out so much.
I liked how she taught readers…
- Never trust those closest to you
- Sometimes the things we want to know the most will only cause hurt
- The truth can hurt worse than knowing everything is all lies
- Those who love you will stay with you till the end
- Love is powerful

After all that happened…Poppy’s gonna need some help because her mind is everywhere so here is something that might help. https://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/rankings/psychiatry
Overall this was a great book but I am very glad to be done because I wasn’t a fan of how long the author started to take to get to the final point; still a very good book though and would definitely would recommend.
